myLot Discussions on Space Exploration Stamp Sheets
space exploration is a waste of money???
do you feel that Space Exploration doesn't provide any direct benefit to us and money spent on it should be spent for other purposes.
How do you feel about space exploration?
I for one am all for spending money on it. A lot of money. I mean, we've pretty much exhausted Earth, all the blank edges of the map have been filled in. What's left now is space. I honestly don't understand people who think the whole thing is a waste of time. There's literally an infinite amount of things we could find out there. So what are your views on space exploration? Waste of money? NASA needs to have more funding? Where are the space aliens? (:p) and if you're "pro space" what do you think we'll find out there given the chance?
Space Exploration
Do you think space exploration is important? Why or why not? What goals would you like the space program to achieve?
space exploration spending it is helpfull or not?
space exploration can it be helpful or not if you look on general situation of world economy and there are more people starving, countries that engage in space exploration must think if its really worthy to appropriate such endevour when there are people in their country do not have means to feed their family
Space Exploration - India Chandriyan
What do you think of India's space mission to the moon - Chandriyan It is sounded as a sucess, evrything went of fine . being the first attempt it is a sucess what do you think about it, Will India have a good future in space .
space exploration
Do you think we will be able to find another shelter in some other planet when earth perishes?
marine - aviation - land - space exploration
Radar is something that is in use all around us, although it is normally invisible. Air traffic control uses radar to track planes both on the ground ground and in the air, and lso to guide planes in for smooth landings.
Space Exploration
I'm in favor of space exploration and the new discoveries that have come into existance thanks to space work. The space station could be in jepardody. The shuttle is soon to be retired. The technology on the shuttle is circa the 1960's. Now there is talk of more exploration of Mars or colonization. All of this will cost billions. Is it up to the United States to do all of this. Does any other country have the technology or money to help or will we have to foot the bill ourselves. And what about the private sector?
Space Exploration
NASA is getting ready to launch yet another shuttle trip. Is this all worth it? There is so much work to do on the space station and the shuttle fleet is old. As a matter of fact the shuttle program will soon be phased out in favor of another type of vehicle. Is it really worth the money that it would take to complete projects ongoing and in the future? The government keeps cutting funds to the point that one must wonder do we still have enough good equipment going? Do we need to colonize the moon? In the long run what will we gain from all of this?
Is space exploration a thing of the past?
I just finished reading "Apollo 13" and was recently watching a doc on Apollo 8. It seems that back then, space was new and exciting. But it would seem that since the Challenger disaster, there isn't much going on in the news about space exploration... Is this just my observations?
